A Story to Tell
Le Musée de f.p.c. on Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana opens a door to a brilliant yet hidden history of people whose stories had largely been confined to archival boxes, out-of-print books, yellowing musical scores and the headstones in the city’s historic cemeteries.
A Premier Event Location
Le Musée de f.p.c. is much more than a house museum. Whether it is a wedding or reception, cocktail party or business meeting, Le Musée de f.p.c. is the perfect setting for your next special occasion or important event.
Le Musée de f.p.c. is home to one of the most unique and special collections in the country. From original furniture by free man of color and master craftsman Dutreuil Barjon to authentic manumission papers to paintings, photographs and other artifacts–our holdings reflect the legacy, contributions and importance of free people of African descent in New Orleans and throughout the nation.
